Get your team together and put on your dancin’ shoes for a fantastic day of
FUN-draising! All proceeds will go towards our Senior Town Hall Kids trip to the Broadway
Student Summit in New York City! Contact us to sign your team up today and receive your
pledges and participants package. This Dance-a-thon is very similar to a walk-a-thon;
Participants join teams (or dance as individuals) and raise money by dancing. Dance lessons,
social dancing, contests, prizes and more will be enjoyed throughout the day. This event is open
to all who want to participate – new beginners through advanced and no experience
necessary! Each team member is required to raise a minimum of $25 in pledges to participate
– Some of the prizes that will be awarded to the Team with the Most Money Raised in Pledges,
Best Team Spirit, Best Social Media Splash and Most Songs Danced!

A schedule of dances and instructors will be posted in advance of the event, we are
working on having a wide variety of different dances to participate in, with several different
instructors including past THK Choreographer, Laura Campbell! Food and beverages will be
available to purchase throughout the event.

Where is the money going?

The Broadway Student Summit is designed to connect theatre students with the
Broadway community – & each other – through a series of workshops, master classes, & an
unforgettable experience at a hit Broadway musical. The program spans 2 days & includes an
orchestra ticket to a Broadway musical, with 6 workshops in acting, voice, dance & a variety of
arts disciplines with cast & creative team members from the show. Every student will work
directly with Broadway’s best & brightest performers, choreographers, music directors &
teaching artists. This year, four youth from our Town Hall Kids program will be attending the
workshops with our Artistic Director Nikki Campbell-Schram, in late April. Our fundraising goal
for this trip is $5000 to help subsidize transportation and accommodations for the families and
youth involved in this opportunity of a lifetime!
